I pulled a gypsy bird last night... :-)

She asked me back to hers for a good time and she wasn't joking. I went on the dodgems, the waltzer, ghost train and came home with a gold fish.

Showmen are quite touchy about being confused with gypsies.

They are probably all descended from the same ancestors but have each adapted in different ways to a changing society and way of life.

It is a bit like telling a joke about a wing- commander taking you for a ride in his submarine.
