poor little soul RIP little man :-( :-(

I went to bed last night hoping that the police would find him safe and well and I was shocked to wake up this morning to read this news :-(

Police investigating the disappearance of three-year-old Mikaeel Kular have found a body and detained a person, understood to be his mother.

The body of a young boy was found in Fife shortly before midnight, police said, and they "strongly believe this to be the body of Mikaeel".

Sources told the BBC that his mother, named locally as Rosdeep, was detained but police have not confirmed this.

How tragic - I had hoped that this was a custody kidnapping and that he would be found safe and well. What ever the circumstances, why one twin but not the other?

As this has had nationwide coverage, it would be interesting to read the court reports if/when anyone is Tried. Devastating for all who knew and loved him.

Heartbreaking, I just can not begin to imagine what the family of this poor little boy are going through, I don't want to speculate on who or why, I just pray that Mikaeel was not too scared and did not suffer.

His mother has been charged. It's almost impossible to understand how a mother can harm her own child, he looked such a happy little chap and had a twin sister who will have to grow up alone now, no father on the scene and not the same father as the other three children, I hope the family will help her through this, she will be too young to understand but the older children won't.

Wonder what took the police to the woodland in the first place - near the family's home but something or someone must have given cause to search the area.

On the same day it is reported that Mikaeel Kular's mother is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in connection with his death, there are also reports that two men have been arrested over racist tweets on Twitter about the disappearance of little 3 year old Mikaeel :-|

What sick minds some people have, for goodness sake, we are talking about an innocent 3 year old boy who died in very tragic circumstances, his colour or race has nothing to do with it - any individual who tweets or makes such racist comments must have a very warped mind and should face the full force of the law.

It is not right that children fail to outlive their childhood.

So far I have only seen that she was arrested in connection with his death. She has not been arrested for murder. So there is more to come out about this story. Poor little boy.

His mother was to appear in the Sheriffs court this afternoon and then she was going to be charged but as yet not heard anything.

The mother of three-year-old Mikaeel, Rosdeep Kular aged 33, has just appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court

She has been charged with the murder of her son Mikaeel whose body was found late on Friday evening at Kirkcaldy in Fife, and she has also been charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice - she has been remanded in custody.
