Sharron I would forget appointments ...and I do...
if I don't write them in my diary.
As for the day and date if I need to know them I ask OH.
Check my diary on a Monday and if week free I relax.

So happy Fred got his sausage sarnie...thought he might :-D :-D

Emma :-)

And he still has not been to the hospital!

No transport this morning.

Now I am pretty sure I booked it but they say they have no record. You see, I had the carers organized for today and I don't do that until I know what time he will be picked up.

The reason I thought it was yesterday was that, after I received the appointment letter and organized everything, I let it leave my memory until the day and was sure that yesterday was the 22nd.

We now have things organized, maybe, for Monday and Fred is having his sausage sandwich after all!

And why should he not be?

I live in a state of utter bewilderment where I evidently don't know what day it is.

You are certainly not alone, I rang my dentist to cancel and re-arrange my appointment only to be told it was for the following Thursday...... and the correct date on the calendar .

I really should pay more attention.

It was fine having an appointment on Tuesday but I should have looked more carefully at the day of the week and cancelled.

This one is going to clash with Sausage Sandwich Day!

This is not the first time I have muddled up his hospital dates.

The last time the ambulance had to chase him up the road.

Oh well,he will just have to stop at home today and enjoy his pineapple.

Fred has an appointment for the hospital at 11am. The ambulance is booked to pick him up at 10am, the carers organized around it. This was done when the appointment letter came.

Fred is wearing his hospital clothes, his mate has come down extra early on the bus from where he lives by the hospital to travel up to the hospital with Fred.

Everything is organized and ready today for the appointment which is tomorrow we have just realized!
