hi

You don't want Qtcore4.dll It's part of moboengine software.
Go to C:\program files\moboengine and delete that directory, ensure you have killed the daemonprocess.exe running program in your task manager first.

How did you come to have a techie on the phone sorting out your drivers ? There are a lot of scammers luring people into this sort of thing with poor results - at best a non working computer and around £ 60 pounds paid out at worst lots of malware, added to a botnet or even grabs of your personal details etc. ? If you had bank details etc on the machine now is a good time to check what is going on.

Given what you have posted by far the best option is to reinstall Windows XP from scratch - you will have either a recovery partition on the computer, or a recovery disk or possible original WindowsXP DVD disk. The serial key should be stuck on to the box but can be retrieved anyway using software.
If you would like any help with this you may pm me this evening.

good luck

Just type "event viewer" into the search facility will find it then when you open it you should see "Applications"
