Whoops Budgie, I think you've near as well requested another visit!!! :-0

I usually answer the door with 'Jewish' (just cos, according to my children, I looked like Anne Frank when I was young) or 'Islam' - cos my dad was a convert to Islam.
When I feel really evil and one of my black cats is around, I say 'Satanist' and open the door a little wider to show the life size grotesque bust on the shelf.
I find this also works on door to door salesmen/charity collectors
:-D :-D

Personally, I have no religion, and if I wanted one, I'm quite capable of finding one on my own!

Maggie's post "I'm quite capable of finding (a religion) on my own reminds me of a couple of things I say to JW's.

1. I am a Jehovah's Witness. Have been for just over 30 years. Which is a true thing for ANY committed Christian to boast about.
2. I was converted in 1982 thanks to Jehovah's Witnesses visiting my home. I was searching for the "right" religion and they led me to local churches and chapels to find the "pearl without price" and the true Jehovah. And, much as I admire what they do and their faith, neither the pearl nor Jehovah are much in evidence at their Kingdom Halls or in their pamphlets
