Hi McB, hope you feel better today.

Bad news that the tendons are loose in your hand, shouldn't something have been done at the time of the accident or soon after to try and reattach them somewhere? I can imagine how difficult it must be for you with so little movement and with it being constantly painful as well, you would be entitled to be fed up.

Well done for staying positive and definitely Keep Calm and Carry On, what choice do you have?

Hi Liz, the vic worked well, didn't stop me cuddling the porcelain for about an hour in the night though.
Stumps !!!!
Having a lot of problems with my hand, can't close my hand, my index finger is solid, the only use i have is my thumb & little finger, been waiting ages for an appointment for an ultra sound which i finally had done on friday, shows that the tendons that run up my hand to the index finger & stumps are not connected, there loose in the palm of my hand, got to see plastics specialist this coming friday
Oh & yes it all HURTS like ****
Yes i have been working but it's hard trying to do a lot of things one handed & contrary to what the gov & experts tell us work is NOT picking up, I'm really short of work at the moment,
I'm not destitute yet & when i look round I'm a lot better off than some so as the saying goes

Poor you McB, hope you feel better soon, and the vick on your feet stopped the cough keeping you awake.

How are you doing otherwise, are your stumps healed well now and are you managing to keep up with enough work to pay the bills? Try not to push yourself if you have got a virus/flu so that you can recover properly and not prolong the effects on your joints etc.

Got this virus thing that's doing the rounds, joints as painful as hell, a cold and a real bad caugh, going to use the vics vapour rub on my feet tonight, feel awfull
