We played "It's Over" by Roy Orbison at the funeral of my ex- boyfriend because he was particularly fond of his music.

he also liked Marty Robbins and used to sing "Strawberry Roan". That one always reminds me of him, the lousy, drunken, no good...................!

A lot of songs remind me of my beautiful Mam, but "Fever" sung by Peggy Lee more than most. She was a great singer, and could certainly do this song justice,
Unfortunately, I haven't inherited her voice. :-) :-) :-)

The one I remember the most is

Oh what a night, late December back in '63
What a very special time for me
As I remember, what a night.

sung by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons released in March 1976 I think. The same month I met my husband. :-D :-D

Dear Mersey

Hello

I think it would be this one:

"NO OTHER LOVE" by Jo Stafford.

Considered, maybe old fashioned, but It is much loved by me.

Take gentle care
Best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx
