Fred can't get one over on me every day, hard as he may try, so the highlight of his joyless existence is when, three times a day, after he has been on the commode and despite earnest advice from community nurses with a wise expression, the carers slap talc (foo-foo) on his bum.

He usually shouts with joy or even sings, we had a trio singing Jingle Bells at Christmas.

For reasons best known to himself, Fred decided he was going to hospital today, the ophthalmic department.

For this reason he declined the offer of having his bum powdered this morning!

Now, I have not actually been to the ophthalmic department but I just thought they looked into your eyes from the front!
