I think that the gro bmd has never been free on GR.

Unfortunately, as you no doubt know, FreeBMD only covers 1837-1983 and even that isn't complete for the later years.

Don't forget that the GR members who have access to the whole of GR's records, Findmypast or Ancestry are more than willing to help with your research. Just post on Find Ancestors/Find Living Relatives as appropriate.
Any parish record you wanted to access might be available for free elsewhere.

If you're looking for marriages after 1837 - 1960c you can find them here, for free

If you can't find the marriage or the marriage has not yet been transcribed to freebmd you can use Ancestry or ask for a look up if you don't subscribe

There are different levels of membership I,m afraid

I use other sites for BMD,S

Depending on the date you should make use of the free site FreeBMD

Hi

Never used this medium before but felt I had to come and air my views

I am saddened to think that after all the many years I have been a member of GR when I come on to look for a marriage I find I have to PAY EXTRA to view the result!!

Not a happy hector sorry!!
