I can only think that I at some time in the two weeks after the 5th went in to top up the beautiful vase of flowers that son sent me which was on a coffee table next to the fireplace where the artificial flowers live. Both in a very large glass vase. And then I must have tipped the water into the wrong vase. And compounded it by not noticing for 2 weeks then away for one week. :-D :-D

You certainly are not on your own Ann.
We had our 3 yr old gt niece yesterday for a little while and she kept telling me
"You forget your memory Auntie" and I replied "Yes I do Chloe, many times"...... out of the mouths of babes lol

Ann it comes to us all... I tried to put baking trays in the fridge ...not once but three times!!! didnt take my earing aid out at the hairdressers so that got a shampoo as well

I can't believe that I did this. Sitting looking at a large vase of artificial flowers that are on the hearth of our electric fire. It didn't look right somehow, It is a clear glass vase and in the bottom are the mixed coloured 'marble' things for vases etc. I thought it looked dark, then I looked more closely and it had water in it. Remember these are artificial flowers. They were put in the vase on 5th January when I took out the Christmas arrangement.

I have no memory of having put water in that vase but I must have done it!! so now the flowers are drying out and the vase and 'marbles as well'. :-D :-D
