Dear All

Hello


Over the weekend there are many events planned to mark World Holocaust Day.

The day itself was on 27 January. This was chosen to mark the liberation of the
of the Nazis' biggest concentration camp at Auschwitz in south-western Poland.

What soldiers found there is beyond description.

What did emerge was man's inhumanity to man.

Also remembered are other genocides that have taken place since,
in places such as in Rwanda, Serbia and Darfur.

Hello Elizabeth

I don't think many people today appreciate, or perhaps are even aware of the terrible atrocities that took during the Holocaust. Sadly the years have shown that war is still
responsible for delivering pain torture death and. suffering to people all over the world
Man has learned nothing.

This is in a village about 4 miles from where I used to live

The village of Laxton is also the last surviving village to still use the old open field system for their farming.
