We have had 3 huge potholes nearby and they have been gradually getting bigger over some months now. Last Friday I e.mailed the Street Care office to say they were accidents waiting to happen.
I received a reply within 30 minutes thanking me for bringing it to their attention.
So lets see how long it takes for them to be repaired. I wont be holding my breath

I hit a puddle in the kerb on a dark rainy night (11.30pm) and it was in a pothole, serious tyre damage.

Southwark Council got the repair bill and the money was reimbursed by Thames Water who had not filled the hole in properly!!!

That night I waited nearly an hour for the Repair Man. and after a long day in work by the time I got home I was sooo tired.

Nasty - I hope the driver was ok, when I read the comments you made in your opening post I thought it was going to be that clip from the Vicar of Dibley of Geraldine jumping in puddles :-D
