Not in the same context, but I've certainly been somewhere then later found out that an Ancestor had lived in the area. 'If only I'd known that at the time' comes to mind :-D

I have just watched the film Funny Girl, and in it they sailed on the ship Berengaria. My grandfather died on this ship in 1935 sailing back from America. I have seen the film before but did not know of the connection. Has anyone else had an experience like this
