A nice photo of you so that he can gaze at you when you go to yoga. And a document officially drawn up with a solicitor and signed by yourself in front of two independent witnesses.

The document should absolve him from any job lists after retirement. Electrical jobs are dangerous, you must not expect him to climb steps or do anything dirty after 65, he can catch a cold or pull something if gardening. He must not be allowed to do anything- repeat anything - round the house or estate, Paula.

Merlin OHs son was given one for Christmas by his partner , he has nor used it yet. I will wait to see what he says.

Sharron, I am sure OH would be more than happy with that idea, but I just want to mark his milestone birthday with something special. We both give a donation to our chosen charity.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 3 Feb 2014 14:13

That's a great idea Sharron. :-)

When we celebrated our 25th anniversary, we asked for donations to the heart unit which was lead by my OH's consultant. We felt it would help others to be as fortunate as we had been. xx
