It is not the hospital.

It is the recently privatised transport service.

Dear Sharron

Hello

I'm speechless.

How can the hospital make such a stupid mistake like that?

I hope Fred will soon pick up and feel better.

Take gentle care
Best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

Fred was at the hospital today in the hope of having his eyelid tightened prior to his second cataract operation. He went in the ambulance because he is confined to his wheelchair.

Unfortunately the surgeon decided against carrying out the operation because of Fred being on the antibiotic for his chest infection.

It was quite fortuitous that the operation was not carried out because no return ambulance had been booked. He came home on the bus.
