Enjoyed it. Didn't realise they asked if there had been any other birth or stillborn. Any idea how long they have done this?

We enjoyed the program but would have liked to see more about the actual workings of the department, and, for example computers are used within a process that hasn't otherwise changed in over 170 years.

I was struck by the quality of the writing (or lack of) on the certificate for Prince George's birth. And she was the Superintendent Registrar :-0 :-0

And I would love them next week to feature a marriage where the police intervene. They must know when "love" is not involved in a marriage, despite Rambling Sid saying that he only knew when "love" WAS involved.

Watching the registration of Joanna and then realising she had died a couple of weeks later was so sad. I thought the way the Registrar dealt with it was exemplary, and nice to see they get very emotional at times.

It was a really interesting programme but very sad at times.

A bit to close to home for me personally but I will watch next week. I wonder where all the records have gone to be stored and have they been digitised.

Take care
