I have seen two people post the link and each time I have seen my own...not theirs

Green box at the top of the screen shares it

I couldn't find it myself but I had real downloader so downloaded to my computer and shared it that way......then I found out how to do it :-D

I wasn't planning on posting the link jax as it won't work outside of FB anyway. However....it might just work on an FB page, worth a try I think.

Ann, my friends videos are all still working so no glitch with mine.

I'll pm you the link, it doesn't come up with anything in the browser bar but try posting it on your own FB page.

When you see someone elses video you see a link to click to see yours

Then click middle of the pick to play it

if you want to post it on your wall the is a green box at the top of the screen that says 'Share your movie'

Edit there is no point posting the link because anyone clicking on it will only get their own

When I click on the link AnninGlos it goes to my own video!

You are right though that when you click on the arrow of the friends that have 'shared' you are able to see their photos. :-D

Island, just a thought can you message me the link in case I am not getting it right please.

I have seen the arrow on the videos of friends and have played their videos. As I only have 6 photos (2x3) in the grid I get when I click on the link there is no central photo.

I am chuckling here because something is obviously different so either I am actually getting a different grid when I click on the link or I am not clicking on the right link (difficult when they are all the same.

I am quite PC literate so it is aggravating, however not the end of the world. thank you for your help. Yeah Island, get on a train, if you can find one stopping at Gloucester!!!

The arrow is no longer on my video or others that I have seen! :-D

It was on my profile photo in the middle of the grid but now there is just the F/B logo and the words 'a look back' :-S

The arrow is just a small triangle pointing right in the centre of the middle picture on the grid. A left click on this should play your friends video. There should be a link above it - or to the right if you have played it - this should take you to your own video.

Have I got to get on a train? lol :-D

I got the link (well several links as I tried more than one) from one of my friends who had their video up. I might have been a bit misleading about the photos in the grid. they are not my photos but they are friends' photos (does that make sense). It is just six photos, two are mine, two are my sisters, two one of my other fiends. But in that grid there is no arrow. Is that where the arrow should be? Over the top is a message somethings about facebook and 10 years, can't remember but no instructions as to how to activate it. Oh, and yes I realised that facebook made the video not me.

That's a bit strange Ann. I've seen some of friends in my newsfeed and recognise all the photos in the 'grid' as theirs - as are mine - there is an arrow in the middle to click and start. Have you clicked on the link that came with a friends vid that says 'view yours' (or similar). In other words......how did you get the link?

Yes somebody said about an arrow. Is that in the middle of the grid of photos you get when you click on the link? Incidentally the photos in the grid are all other people's photos, not mine I have to add.

Ann, you don't get to make the video - FB has already done it :-P - you just click the arrow to play it. It comes up with random photos from your fb that you might not have selected. Mine aren't what I would have chosen as representing my time on FB, so you're probably not missing anything.

I'll have to get my head round your second point in a mo.

The video is made by F/B for you. There should be an arrow in the middle of the grid to play it. Well that is how it is for me and several of my family members. :-D

Facebook Failure.

1) I seem to be the only person who can't fathom out how to make the video on FB. I click on the linkj, I get a grid of photos, but nothing to explain how to progress to making the videol.... Failed!! Lol

2.) Wanted to send a message to somebody I had not messaged before. sent it and it was public for all to see. Luckily it was not that private. I have since sent messages to people from whom I have received them or who I have messaged before. But why was it different that time. It came up as ****(my name) > ****(person's name) in the list of posts...... Failed!

And I have to add here that my IT aware Grandson in his 20s had the same happen to him.
