Dear All

Hello


55 years ago, 3 young musicans died in a airplane crash.

Buddy Holly,

Jiles P Richardson - known as the Big Bopper, aged 28.28,

Ritchie Valens, aged 17.

Buddy Holly was only 22 when he died and yet all of his songs and the music
of his two friends are remembered and played around the world every day.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buddy's life story has been made into a musical-drama, was in the West End
and is regularly touring the country.

Rest in peace, Buddy, Jiles and Ritchie. <3

We Saw Buddy Holly on the tour at East Ham Granada...........with the girl of my dreams........one of our REAL dates.............13th march......1958
a year and a month later I was in the company of her majesty's armed forces......


Sadly Buddy is Gone,

but we is still together!

Went to stay in Lubbock in the panhandle of Texas in 1998 where Buddy Holly was born and he is revered for bringing fame to the city and saw statues of him in various places.

Good gracious me fifty five years that really has surprised me. I was just a young girl and bridesmaid at my Aunties wedding. At the reception we were all dancing and someone (I don't think they were called DJs back then) played "Everyday" it was so sad, I remember everyone stopped dancing and just stood still.

His music lives on.
