Wednesday. 3rd February. 1904.

Tidal wave wreaks havoc in England.

A freak tidal wave swept up the Channel today leaving a trail of devastation.
Worst hit were the coastal towns of Sandgate, Portsmouth, St Leonards,
(where huge waves ripped a 200-foot gash in the sea wall) and Hallsands in
Devon where six cottages were washed out to sea.
Elsewhere gale force winds and heavy rain have caused considerable damage
to property and wide spread flooding has brought work to a standstill on farms
all over the country.

Presumably that means that they suffered from Global Warming and Climate Change way back then as well. :-D

Jonesey Spot on, Climate change has been an integral part of the life of our planet, The planet earth has had many ice ages, we were having ice ages even before humans inhabited the earth so there must have been many global warmings (climate changes) in between
