dizzi, I asked my daughter who, although not a nurse/doctor has some medical knowledge for her work. She says you can't judge if the level is high because it was not a fasting test. If it was that level after fasting for 8 hours it would be considered high. you need to ask the practice nurse. as Kitty suggests.

Have you asked to speak to a practice nurse at your surgery? Somehow they seem to explain medical jargon in people friendly words.

Although I Iive with 2 diabetes patients, I can't comment on your sugar levels, I only know what my 2 have been given to work with :-)

ON FRIDAY I HAD AS MY GP CALLS IT AN MOT,HAD USUAL BLOOD TESTS
AND RESULTS BACK ALREADY, NOW I KNOW NOTHING OF SUGAR LEVELS
BUT MINE NOT FASTING WAS 9.1,CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN IN THE SIMPLEST
WAY AS I'M FEELING A BIT THICK AT THE MOMENT,APART FROM ALL THE OTHER THINGS WRONG I WAS WONDERING IF THIS WHY MY LEGS WONT HEAL
UP AND SEEM TO GET WORSE.XX
