I was Big Shirley when I was a kiss-o-gram.

Curly wig, big bow, big lolly.

By that time the real Shirley was, I believe, an ambassador for UNICEF, or something similar,

Hi Ann :-) :-)

I had already posted this info! I will delete my thread and add my post to yours! :-)

Shirley Temple was a famous child star who started her career aged just 3.

I only recently showed my Grandchildren her singing "On the Good Ship Lollipop" which she sang in the Film "Bright Eyes"-

She went into Public Service as a Diplomat.

Yes just heard the sad news on the radio. I loved her films when I was younger and just hearing 'The good ship lollipop' again made me emotional.

RIP Shirley

Just seen on the news that Shirley has died aged 85

What a great little actress she was - I have curly hair and when I was little my Mum did my hair in ringlets - have loads of photos of me looking like a Shirley Temple clone!!!

RIP Shirley
