I would like to ask some advise - our grandson is 13 and was diagnosed about 2 years and I would like to chat with someone who has knowledge of this.

Thanks for reading

Mary

Try contacting Cynthia - if she doesn't spot this thread, she can be found on

There are other members on GR who have mentioned having ASD relatives - no one ASD person exhibits exactly the same behaviour as another. That's why it is usually referred to as a Spectrum Disorder

Hi Mary,

My nephew is autistic and I have also taught children with Asperger's, happy to help if I can.

Hello Mary, I work in an Infant school with children who have speech and language problems. Over the years I have worked with quite a few ASD children being a full time home tutor to one for five years.

Obviously these are younger than your Grandson but I may be able to help.

M.

I think you need to find out EXACTLY what form the Asperges takes.

The terms Asperges and Austistic cover a wide range of conditions (it is not an illness).

And then once you know what form this condition is, you can then go online and look up and see if there is a support group for that specific condition.

:-)
