Why not delete this thread and start a new one on Find Living Ancestors?

Put New Zealand in the title

In the body of the post, give as much detail as you can

- Full name
- Year of birth
- Place of birth
- When she migrated
- Names of those she migrated with (YOB if possible)
- Mention that you've found a NZ ER entry for 1981 in the Auckland area.
- Give a brief reason why you want to contact her or your relationship to her

Simply by getting her full birth name on the internet means that if she or someone related makes an internet search for it, the thread will be in their results. They can then subscribe to GR and send you a PM. Make sure that GR always have your current email address. Even if you allow your subscription to lapse, you'll still be able to reply to messages.

Unfortunately not :-( I don't think they're on here. There are members on here from NZ who might be more help than me

It's all the same site, just different portals, so you don't have to register via the NZ site

If she is an active and registered member of GR, then a notification from GR will arrive in her email box.

NZ have more stringent privacy laws than the UK - unless you can find a marriage announcement somewhere on line, its unlikely that you'll find an official marriage record. GR won't have more up-to-date records than you already have found

If she migrated with her family, look for death or other announcements for the parents, or if she had a male sibling, look for a telephone number/address on eg
http://whitepages.co.nz/

Try facebook and other social networking sites.

If you believe she had aunts/uncles in the UK, then try searching for them or their children who may be willing to pass on a message.

They probably won't let you join in NZ because you're on here. This is basically the same site.

You could also try doing a search of the family trees on here to see if anybody else on here is related to her ;-)

If you mean you've used the GR messaging system to try to make contact, then if she hasn't read the messages, she's probably changed her email address or isn't in a position to read them.

Genesreunited, the company, will not divulge personal information to a third party, unless instructed by the UK Courts.

Presumably this lady has a relative in common? Have you thought laterally and contacted other people who may also have these people listed?

Make an internet search for her under her maiden name if that's all you have - you may find something relevant.

have you found this person to be a member on here ?

if yes and you have sent a private message to her, then its quite likely she i no longer a member.
