Dear All

Hello

Mr Ralph Waite also appeared in "The Mississippi", from 1982 to 1984.

He played Ben Walker, a retired criminal attorney who sought a more simple life
on the mighty Mississippi river as a simple stern-wheel river boat captain.

At every port he would stop at he would find someone who needed a good attorney.

His "crew" consisted of Stella McMullen and Lafe Tate, played by Linda Miller
and Stan Shaw were more interested in helping people and becoming attorneys
than running the tug.

Filming occurred in several cities along the Mississippi River including Natchez, Mississippi, and Memphis, Tennessee.

Much under-rated series and overlooked.

Mr Waite also played Kevin Costner's father in "The Bodyguard" in 1992.

Rest in peace, Mr Waite and thank you for the memories of being "Pa Walton".

Sincere wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

Didn't watch The Waltons but enjoyed his performances as Gibbs' dad in NCIS.
