Hello Everyone
Have seen on Sky New that the National Archives/London is on fire
not sure what damage there is yet

What about the peat bog fire at Borth near Aberystwyth.?
When I saw the pic In daily Post ,thought it was a bush fire in Oz.
How can it catch fire when the ground is soaking wet.?
Hope the records are well stored and dry...or on computer.

Hopefully they will get in under control and it doesnt spread

The National Archive building at Kew is a nice building in a good setting
Been there many times with my Family History Society AND found some very old documents that I was able to get copies of .

Would be a pity if the buildings were compromised
