Lol, you are full of the joys Hayley, you have been on your hols. We are all a bit under the weather (literally because it has been foul) A good moan is what cheers us all up. I do get a bit fed up with the 'knock the government for everything' posts though. (Don't think they were actually blamed for the arrival and naming of Simon Cowell's baby though.)

I live by the simple rule,..........It's better out than in,

And that is not just confined to flatulence,

A good moan is sometimes needed,.......for some GR is as good a place as any

Why should anything need to be "Important enough to post" ?

This is the General chat board,.....not the "important announcements board"

If it makes people feel better by posting positive or negative comments then thats fine by me,

If threads/posts don't interest me i simply don't add to them.

A moan a week aint's so bad but I only read the threads that are interesting to me.

It is so depressing looking at moaning threads that I just leave the site until anoither day. :-)

Your post has really lowered my spirits this morning, Hayley :-( :-( :-(

Not really. You are on the button. There are one or two posters who could happily start a thread "I am a moaning minny. I don't like David Cameron, neither do I like Farage, nor Clegg nor Miliband. In fact they are all useless compared to me. Don't like shops, insurance companies, neighbours, people with religion, people without, Environment Agency, DWP, NHS, private health, local council, weather, posters who stray off topic, posters who keep rigidly to topic, posters who disagree with my totally accurate views on the world and beyond.........Now I will share what I like about my life. My garden :-S (Yes, that's about it - nice yukka). Have a good day to all my friends on Genes"

I have not written this fake Opening Post in any particular style, but am sure the penny will drop with a couple of my Genes friends :-D :-D

Why, Hayley! It seems like only yesterday when you would flood the boards whenever you broke a nail, used the wrong hair dye, your bunions hurt in your strappy sandals. or...the memorable time...when you got a spot on your nose just before a night at the casino. My, you did flounce and moan that time! :-D So you see, a good moan is jolly good for one <3

Any chance you would read my aura while you are there? XX BC <3

More than is has been?

Looking through the threads from the past couple of days...

The threads about the money changing in 1971 ...... I have never thought about how the banks coped or shops just to make a float up that morning for a small shop must of been a nightmare, so was interesting to read some of your memories and then we get the moaners......just another way for the governemt to rip you off *sighs*

Its facebooks birthday as a member myself I enjoy the site as many of you do, how would I know if its raining or windy as I am obviously to lazy to look out of the window or how would I get the footy scores, or know what and even look at pictures of people are having for their dinner. But then again you dont have use FB or be a member its dead easy to delete your account and forget the site is even there......but nooooooooo moan moan someone always has to have a moan.

Someone has thought the birth of Simon Cowells son is important enough to post a thread and wish them well, what a nice gesture. I am not interested in the slightest so chose not to add however some even fill that up with negitive vibes why? If you dont care or give a toss leave it be.

Is this what this site has become is way it is going to continue? Are people being deported from the Saga site to set up camp on here just to spread their misery because its working a treat. :-|
