As I understand it, standard membership includes having a tree on the site. I am well aware that I could have put my tree on here for free, but then I would have been unable to participate on the boards.......and I know some would say that would be no bad thing.
However the Genes advert does say Acess to all our records for just five pounds, which gives the impression that everything on Genes is availabe for that price.
It says nothing about the five pounds purchasing 50 credits.

Hi Wisechild,

The ad that you are seeing promoting access from £5 refers to the pay-per-view credits. Prices start at £5 for 50 credits. This price is standard for everyone, not a special offer.

Keep getting an ad for GR coming up on my screen
Access all GR records for a fiver!!!!!!
Nothing on here, although there may be on Facebook. Wouldn´t know as I´m not a member.
Have no doubt there is a catch.
If not, why am I paying nearly 3 times that just to have a tree on here & use the boards?
