Well done to this man. What an achievement . First time I have heard anything about him. What a shame he has not had any publicity.

Thanks Roy for posting this. A magnificent achievement - at least £180k raised for Help the Heroes. And, yes, we should know a lot more about it. But what with Stuart Hall and Jimmy So Vile and the cold blooded murderers of Lee Rigby, there are so many causes to put on front pages of our newspapers. :-( :-(

Can't understand how this wasn't made more of, he's a brave chap and more people should know about him and what he's done for Help for Heroes.

He should be very proud of his efforts. I bet he has some great photos and stories to tell, maybe a book will be written when he has recovered from the walk.

Hello Mr Pie and Miss Mersey

Has the young man reached the finishing line?

I can't seem to find anything on the news.

I agree this story should have been picked up and definitely passed
on to TV national news.

Best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

The media have finaly picked up this guys efforts to raise money for Help the hero's

http://www.itv.com/news/border/story/2014-02-19/ex-soldier-walking-coastline-for-chairty/

I have followed him on FB from the start of his Journey, He is now on the last leg of this epic walk,

Pitty the media never got involved before as i believe he would have raised even more money for charity, All the way round he has conistantly asked for donations to other charitable causes as and when he became aware of them.
