I watched the first two parts of this new series on bbc 3. It was fascinating and awful to watch last night's programme with so many young men being stabbed in the gang wars and muggings etc that happen not far from Cape Town.

It was sad to see the white people in Coronation Park, where they have made their own 'shanty town' when they cannot find work or afford to live in decent homes. It's a real role reversal situation, with many of the whites admitting they are paying for the way their own white ancestors (Afrikaans) treated black people of South Africa.

Reggie is great at these progs, he has a very caring attitude and understands people's fears. He was brought up on a London council estate apparently and isn't patronising about the people he meets.
