Lucy, if you go to the find ancestors board and ask for explicit help there will uisually be people there who can look things up for you and help you.

Actually I'm Lucy :) trying to search my step dads tree...hes mark..but I'm stuck already and Ive only got to his dad...its so confusing :(

Are these births before 1912? if so you will need to find them on a census....then try to work out the marriage for the parents using freebmd

don't bother to try to find the marriage on GR as it doesn't work

Every time I look to see the birth of someone ..more often that not the mothers maiden name hasn't been entered...How can I find out the mothers name?
