It's been announced that an unknown singer called
Molly Smitten-Downes is going to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest this year. The song is called Children of the Universe.
I've just listened to the song and I think its brilliant and I love it. It's really catchy. Have a listen to it on the youtube link below.

What does everyone else think of it?

if Pavarotti or Sinatra represented UK we'd still not get more than a dozen points - it's all too political

I like the catchy chorus and she has a powerful voice.

I never watch the Eurovision, but all our daughters love it :-)

I agree with you Ann that the UK will never ever win it again, because its too political, but I still love this year's song.

Kitty - I only watch the end of the Eurovision now, to see who wins and listen to the winning song. When I was a teenager I used to watch the whole thing, but can't be bothered now. I'm still interested in finding out who wins though.

Could stand a chance , but tactical voting again may mean we will be out of favour as usual
