Thanks for the advice.

Believe it or not, I have just had a pm from GR thanking me for renewing my membership and giving me advice on how easy it is to start building my tree... :-S


I imagine there will be another pm tomorrow telling me that my bank details are wrong......hey ho. :-D

I have normally changed my details at the stroke of midnight.....when it has then expired and it then gives you the option to put the new details in.

I know you will not be up at that time, so you best wait till the morning

Some people have had to wait until their due date has passed. They then get an email from GR to ask for the new details. :-0

Only certain people can - if you're not wanted then bad luck Cynthia :-P

Just follow the instructions you have put above and when you get to the Payment page.Thats when you can put your new card details in.

EDIT,,,,,just renewed myself and had to use my new card.

My membership expires at midnight and I wish to renew.

My card details have changed.

I looked at the Help Section and found the following but it doesn't seem to work or, at least, I can't get to the page where I can alter my details. I am wondering if it will only find it on the stroke of midnight????

How do I change the card I pay with?

We don't actually store your card details online. If you want to use a different card for your auto-renewal payment, you can do so from two weeks before your renewal payment is due.

Here’s how you can change the card details.

• Select the option to renew your membership on your Genes Reunited homepage by clicking on 'subscribe'.
• Choose the membership package that you'd like.
• Click on the green box titled 'Subscribe'. This is to the right of the payment options list.
• If you are a Platinum subscriber you’ll see the Additional Features page where you can add other records to your package. Standard members won’t see this page.
• This will take you to the payment page. Please ignore the box at the top prompting you to enter your password.
• Go down to the next section and enter the new card details.
This will then be the card we’ll use for future payments.
