I often find mine has not connected and the young lady has to force it in

Last time, she also struggled and a male cashier on next till had to assist us both.

I like Lidl - as long as your expectations are also lidl. ;-)

They are very sensitive and so easy to scratch

(Edit) and it often gets tucked away in the folds and I can't even find it - just at the important time when she is asking for it :-( :-( What a kerfuffle :-0

how easy it is to misunderstand the assistant's advice - my sister was buying ribbon in a store in Hereford - she asked a assistant who said - "They sell it downstairs - by the metre"

My sister replied "Meter? what meter, gas meter, water meter, electric meter?"

Assistant - "By the metre - the length!!!!"
