Well we had the water meter installed last July .compulsory ! They didnt switch it over for 3 months |

Depends upon whether you are on a meter or not, how many are living in the property, rateable value if not on a meter etc etc. It does sound a bit high but difficult to answer without knowing specific details of course. My understanding was that you were not in a particularly big property so I would get it checked out. |

If you are not on a meter then it is based on rateable value plus fixed charges. |

When I Moved into my bungalow ten years there was a meter already installed, I Ilive on my own so the monthly bill was low a few years ago it shot up to £67 a month, now I'm away a lot I have to go down to my mums every two weeks for the weekend sometimes more if I'm needed. I don't have a bath I shower I use dishwasher twice a week same with washing. Water board came out to check I had no leaks, but when I had my statement in they owed me £500 pounds. UNBIEVEBLE. |

Not paying any water rates at the moment Gins keep on looking at my statement when it come in and they still owe me money so that's one less bill I have to worry about :-D :-D :-D |

Ours are £37approx a mth based on 8 payments per year. This is on the rateable value of the house as we are not on a meter. |

Different areas I suppose and different type of homes, I am in a inner terrace which is in the A band for council tax. Severn Trent water Authority in the Midlands. |
