Tha last time I watched an entire series of "Casualty" in 1991 and 1992
when Nigel Le Valiant played the senior consultant and he was involved in a romance.

Occasionally, I watch it and a few episodes of "Holby City".

I think it depends on the characters and storylines.

Yes Lee Mead is the new male nurse I think with the black Curly hair

He did play Joseph on stage in Joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat .

Won Any Dream will Do in 2006 to get the role and met Denise van Outten on the show and they eventually married and have a young daughter.

Sadly their marriage has hit the rocks and they have separated, seems all wasnt well when she was in Strictly Come Dancing

I think its very watchable :-D :-D

Lee Meads is the new nurse ' Lofty' who was camped out in nurse Robyn's loft, and went back to help her when she put her foot on the garden rake last week...

I do watch casualty every saturday night and have done for years. I also am a big fan of holby City which is the same hospital but"upstairs"on the wards.

Lee Meeds? is that the new doctor with black hair and was he in Joesph or something like that? if not which part does he play as i cant place him.

I liked it when "David Wicks" from Eastenders was in it !

Thought there was talk last year that this was the last series, anyone else heard this or when it will end?

I used to enjoy relaxing watching this programme many years ago but have little interest any more. How on earth would a doctor run to a crash call in high heeled shoes and I have never seen female doctors work with blouse buttons undone and cleavage on show...... I do have the last 2 programmes recorded but not seen either as yet Shirley so can't think who Lee Meeds is?
I still like Charlie Fairhurst's character though. He has aged over the years (same as me lol).

We enjoy the programme even though some of the story lines are the same with different characters involved .

Not too keen now on Lee Mead in it . His acting seems very wooden . he is a singer and a musical theatre actor which is very different from straight acting .

Has his singing career/touring dried up so he has accepted the role in Casualty .

Shame his marriage too has hit the rocks . I thought he and Denise looked very much in love so its sad its all gone a bit pear shaped for them
