I have seen spiders webs stretched between corn stubble right across a field when the sun was setting and it was truly gorgeous but, even having read about it in books at school and certain novels, I have never seen gossamer. |

Of course I am familiar with spider webs, I have a house full of them, but I always understood gossamer to be bits of web blowing about in the morning. |
