If we did make contact with ET, how long do you think it would be before we got a website called Aliens Reunited? I can just imagine aliens posting threads asking for information about their missing loved ones. "He was last seen in the Roswell area of America in the 1940s". :-D |

The nearest star (apart from the sun) is 4 light years away. It's called Proxima Centuri. If we sent a message to Proxima Centuri it would take 4 years to reach any aliens that might be listening. It would take another 4 years for their reply to reach us. That would be one very long, tedious conversation. |
