I purchase the record below, but it came up with the record for a Thomas Gallagher born in 1919 in Sunderland!

Thank you all for your help, I did find James, and they do match Tenerife.
Really wouldn't have found as many ppl as I have without it being free, before they floated on the stock market. Why do they always have do things like this to us!
Going much slower at it these days, just a few times a year now.

PricklyHolly, I've tried that free website before, but I just don't get on very well with it. The records, well, they just seem really basic, with not much info.

Cas - FreeBMD is the "go to" site for records up to c1960s. Without actually purchasing a certificate no site like Ancestry, Genes Reunited or FindMyPast is going to give you any further information as to what is on there. Basically, what they do is take the info from FreeBMD, tart it up into their own format and then charge you for it. They don't provide any additional info as it is the basic index.


Which site are you referring to that was floated on the stock market?
