http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk/cgi/marrind.cgi says that it was a Civil Marriage, so the hunt for parish records will be fruitless.

FWIW, the register is held at Cheshire East. Its likely to be cheaper to order from the GRO than Cheshire, but if you choose to use the local register office, the reference you need is NA/44/99. This will be different from the GRO version.

Hi Glen and welcome to GR.

Ideally this should have been posted on Find Ancestors, but never mind.

Do you have William and Mary's MC? That would give their declared ages, occupations and the names of their fathers. Witnesses might also be siblings.

With surnames as common as Wright and Robinson, any scrap of additional information helps.

Have you been able to identify their deaths? Depending when it occurred, the index will give the age or d.o.b as known by the informant

Hi

I really hope someone can help me. Ive been trying for a long time to find information on my grandma's family. Her name was Olive Wright and she was born Oct 1921 - from previous information I've found, she was born in Ashton Under Lyme. Her father was William Wright and her mother was Mary A Robinson - I can't find them at all and this is where I am stuck. All I know is that they married in Nantwich Oct-Dec 1912. I'd really appreciate any help that anyone can give me as its really frustrating me.
