EU ,,TO VOTE YA OR NA,

Rather than not vote at all, why not vote for someone who has no chance of being elected? That way you have cast a protest vote without choosing an extremist candidate.

EU elections, like by-elections and CC/local Govt. elections, are a good opportunity to send a message to the Big 3 that they have lost the voters confidence.

I shall cast my vote. Not sure yet for whom; I may even deliberately spoil my paper!

If/when Rollo is around, he could give rhyme and reason why we should stay in the EU.

I also will not be voting in the European Election, as for
the General Election?
I will however be voting in the Independence Election and
that will be a NO vote.

Up until the death of John Smith in 1994, I was an active supporter of the Labour Party, since John's death I have had no allegiance to any political party.

For me to vote, there would need to be a political party that was serious about improving the lives of the majority of ordinary hardworking people, not one that is only interested in improving the lives of a few, by following their own selfish ideologies.

When I look at all the main contenders - Conservative; Labour; Liberal Democrats; UKIP and the Green Party, barring a miracle, it looks like I will not be casting my vote in the European Election or the General Election.

I want Britain out of Europe

How on earth would our interests be "looked after" by a UKIP member in Brussels?

Don't UKIP want Britain out of Europe?

They are a party that are fast winning the biggots' votes and yet have a manifesto that is, at best, somewhat flimsy.

AnnCardiff Report 6 May 2014 09:36

hmmm - perhaps I'll reconsider and go for Plaid Cymru

I have no party affiliation. I simply vote for whoever I think is best equipped to run the country fairly.

Not much of a choice though.

UKIP certainly don't look after our interests in the European Parliament. They usually only make sure they qualify for the expenses.

If you really want to get out of Europe and you think that is the most important part of a party's policy, then you should vote for them in a General Election.

It is not a lack of moral courage that afflicts the EU, but rather an utter lack of integrity & fairness.

Give the long-suffering UK citizens a break.

UKIP looking after our interest ??? I don't think so! They have no members elected in the House of Commons ... and until they do ..
I will support the person that has the best values regarding the citizens of the Uk.

One of the potential councillors for our area in the local elections is Adrian Hicks.

He's standing as an independent.

Just google Adrian Hicks, Winchester to see why no-one else would want him :-D :-D

AnnCardiff Report 5 May 2014 21:28

well I shall be voting UKIP in the forthcoming EU election - but NOT in a General Election

I think we need a UKIP member there to look after our interests
