Mary it was late summer last year when they invaded because I was already in this house so they are a lot earlier this year.

Ann I agree the little ones can be worse but this crew were easy to see because of the amount of them. ..There probably were a few early morning but I missed them mind ..The other trouble with the little ones is the gaps they get in. Luckily my ant spray seems to be effective.

Shelley the mice wouldn´t stand a chance in this house because Mini is rather good at catching things. (sure she´s part cat ! )

Some of the ants there and in Tenerife are really really tiny, somehow that is worse because often you don't see them.

You are not on your own Uzzi - I found ants in my kitchen a few weeks ago. I am sure it was later in the summer when I had them last year. I hate the little things.

Dame*Shelly*("\(*o*)/") some of the ants out here are huge and I hate the huge flying ants, but luckily these pesky things were little ones. I do hope they were fully grown :-D

are the ants 10 times bigger than we get in England

Oh b*m I wish I hadn´t said that I will end up washing all my clothes when I get to the UK if I see an ant. :-D

I have my days planned until my flight and Tuesday was going to be a doddle up shower, last minute pack of essentials walk dogs go to airport 8.50 to be there a 9am (ish). Printed my boarding pass off last night and suddenly remembered I am not flying from Murcia airport but Alicante which is 3/4hr up the road ......Revise the alarm clock ! :-D :-D

As if I don´t have enough to do with trying to sort out going to the UK for a week, making sure hubby and dogs are sorted. Clearing the back room so it can be painted whilst I am away >>>>>>>>>> and all that stuff.

What do I find but ANTS :-S :-S :-S :-S after last years battle with them I have had a close watch for them, the kitchen, the porch are clear. Yes I thought won that one and can´t win the outside battle. Smiled too quick didn´t I this morning got out of the shower wandered into the dressing room (posh) and there around Minx´s bed and bowls were ANTS millions of the little critters. All scrabbling around in her very expensive diet biscuits.

There are now millions of very dead critters :-0 but it´s just taken me half hour to sort them out. I now have to sort her bowls out as they can´t go back on the floor until I know the ants have gone. :-( I really didn´t have time for this right now.
