I and all the others with whom I have followed this case from day one only care for one thing and that is justice for MBM and that the twins are protected. Unfortunately the work of fiction entitled 'Madeleine' penned by her Mother and supposedly intended to record the truth for the twins is a self serving, semi pornographic tome only written to earn money.

I would love Madeleine to be found alive but I really cannot see it as a possibility. There is just too much evidence which points very sadly to the opposite outcome. If I am proved wrong I will apologise to all and sundry and make the donation to charity I promised in 2007.

I won't however NOT speak out when MSM continues to feed Joe Public indigestible fodder.

It was at the one we went to - not one of the main Camp organisations. It was our first experience of Holiday Camps............and the last!

It was a 2 roomed chalet - 2 children in one room, a double bed and cot squashed in the other. Leaving them while we had a coffee meant that they had a chance to drop off to sleep, and that was a 'late' bed time for them in any case. Had there been a separate sitting room, we'd have probably stayed with them.

Both establishments were chosen for the advertised child minding/monitoring service.

7th of May 2014 - Media Interference

We are dismayed with the way the media has behaved over the last couple of days in relation to our daughter’s case. There is an on-going, already challenging, police investigation taking place and media interference in this way not only makes the work of the police more difficult, it can potentially damage and destroy the investigation altogether – and hence the chances of us finding Madeleine and discovering what has happened to her. As Madeleine’s parents, this just compounds our distress. We urge the media to let the police get on with their work and please show some respect and consideration to Madeleine and all our family.

Was it really as late as 87 Det, that they stopped doing that at camp sites, never realised it was as late as that .Now there children's activity centres abroad, where your children can do all sorts of activities in the day, and into the night.

Sue' I would of hired horrendously expensive lawyers to, to find my child, wouldn't we all?

What about the time I left my children in a room to get them a drink, they could of vanished, would I then be classed as a bad parent? I honestly don't know why it is, but you sound so harsh when you write about the McCanns,you even felt the need to return to GR to comment on them, why are you so unsympathetic to a couple who's child has gone missing? You haven't inside knowledge, have you? If you have you've never said.

As far as I can see you read things about them so have we all, we all have different views, but surely you don't think it palatable to comment in such a way, until there is something concrete to comment on.

Here....lolol Ok I gave in!

Firstly the surname is McCann and it would be nice if people could show respect and get the name correct.

Secondly, those of us who criticise the parents do so because a) they left 3 children alone, night after night (if to be believed and that wasn't a lesser crime they would be prepared admit to) and b) having pored over the official files since they were made public.

In addition the indications by both specialist dogs with the knowledge that there had been no prior deaths in appt 5a plus the McCanns' could not produce one item that might contain Madeleine's DNA without resorting to returning to the UK to collect something. No hair? no sweaty shoes? No toothbrush (no because the 3 children shared).

Kate refused to answer 48 questions posed within days, they both started a fund and collected monies from the very kind public. They trademarked her coloboma even though they had been advised NOT to draw attention to it they used it in their LQOK campaign but later told Piers Morgan they never made much of it.

They hired world famous (and horrendously expensive) specialist lawyers who had gained notoriety in winning cases against extradition.

I could go on but I'll stop there whilst a few people stop clutching their hearts and start sticking pins in the voodoo doll.

I went to numerous holiday camps when young, and I was older than maddie was, theparents choose to take us the pub with them or shared the babysitting ie one group staying in one nighg another the next,

Hand on heart and completely honest,,,,,,,

No, I never made a consious decision to leave my child aged 3/4 alone at night,

If I was out of an evening then they were with family.

Even school age, I would look in everytime I went upstairs.....no one could get to them without me knowing and they couldnt get past me without me being aware......

A child slipping away in a crowd isnt the same thing, as a consious decision isnt made to walk off and leave them alone on their own.

The McCanns must shoulder some of the responsiblity and blame,as they placed their children and compromised their safety by not ensuring no harm could come to any of them as far as possible.

A child slips off on a beach,,,,,,easy done........but in the first place the parent or charge hasnt walked off and left them alone.

That all said,,,,,,they need answers and at best some closure to the haunting nightmare of the last 7 years of what must be regrets......of IFs,,,,,,,if they hadnt gone on holiday,,,,if they had not been with friends they possibily wouldnt have gone drinking.

But in the end, thank goodness I'm not sharing any of the heartache of that whole family.
