OH has a huge pond vac and it gave up the ghost. So he was looking to buy a new one. What he didnt know, and he would have, had he read the instructions that inside the top is another filter that has to be cleaned. He did it and hey ho all is working. I dont think he has ever read the paperwork that comes with stuff :-D :-D

We've arrived at our gite, and are now settled in. It's very nice - rustic French, and in a very quiet small village. The area we are staying in is known as Green Venice, because of the many tree lined canals - looking forward to some boat trips! :-D :-D

I'm made up, because we have all the English TV channels on satellite, so I won't miss out on the Eurovision Song Contest! :-D :-D ;-)

I've got me pastis in me hand, so I'm a very happy bunny! ;-) ;-) :-D :-D

The WiFi is very slow here, but at least I've been able to post this :-D :-D

Well................woke up this morning and the pump in the pond wasn't working :-|

the dishwasher was saying 'Check Water' ....had to get someone out and would you believe it one of OH's beer can pull rings had got stuck near the pump and blocked it........£59 thank you very much :-| :-| :-|

and

It's been intermittent heavy rain and blowy here :-| :-|
