Was lovely early afternoon.I ventured out to clean my patio and paths with patio cleaner and pressure washed them...at least half...have to pace myself these days, but we haven't had the sort of weather described...it rained about teatime, but we haven't had the wind yet!!...and I live quite high,on a corner and it sure can get the wind up here.
Maybe it's on its way?

Extremely windy down here in Cornwall quite concerned about our garden at home. We could hardly stand up down by Kynance and also opposite St Michaels Mount today.

Same as Carol P..............our bird table crashed down, 4 stacked garden chairs rolled down the path and hit the gate.

But, the very tightly pegged washing dried a treat once the rain stopped :-D

We were down at Minnis Bay near Birchington in Kent about lunchtime today & decided to have a stroll along the prom. 20 yards walking into the wind, decided we didn't like sand blowing into our faces so an about-turn. With the wind behind us the walk back took half the time!

OH said that there were a lot of cross winds in places on the M2, particularly the Medway Bridge. Although his hands were roughly at '10 to 2', in that section they were at '5 to 4'ish to counteract the winds.

Not as bad as Wales, but still quite strong.

A huge stone bird table has gone over and completely broken a beautiful Pieris off from ground level :-( :-(

Its a bit on the breezy side here in Kent

A mixture of sunshine and showers that lull you into putting the washing out only to be too late to rescue it from a sudden downpour

I hate my washing getting wet . the rain isnt clean so leaves dirty spots .

I will take a wash load in and re rinse it if it gets saturated
