Jude - it is to do with the end of the Dyson nozzle on some models, as there is a notch where the fitments click onto and this is what causes the problems.

Dave....ooo err, l wonder why some fit and others don't? l have to keep the nozzle in place by holding it, but its not a problem and it worked. Which model dyson do you have, l had the 07...my son has it now though!!

Thanks for the last 2 comments. I now think that they are not compatible with the upright (which I have) which makes some sense of the thread I read in a forum.

Many thanks for that.

May order some and borrow sis in laws Henry for a day or 2 and loan her my Dyson!

:-D :-D :-D

Have only used a Dyson hand-held cordless with vacuum bags, worked extremely well. :-)

They seem to work with some types of Dyson cleaners and not others. Google finds differing experiences that people have had.

I have a cylinder Dyson and they work with that one its a DC 20 animal, it has the turbo head for picking up animal fur .

Am still not sure if my question has been answered.

Brummie - I do not need them recommended I do know how good they are Thankyou

Jude - the person who posted about non-compatibility with Dyson, mentioned about the round nozzle on the Dyson does not fit the Space Bags.

So as you can see, I am still no farther ahead in whether or not to buy.

And the other thread does not mention compatibility. :-)

Thanks for that Jude, sadly not one mention of compatability with Dyson fitments.

I am a bit of a nightmare as I will not buy anything unless I have read loads of reviews about the 'thing' I am buying.

So as we are downsizing I thought that these would be a great idea.

But having read the reviews (not too bothered that some people had a couple of bags that leaked and had to be taped) I found on only 1 that mention they do not work with the Dyson hose fitment.

Is this correct. I would hate to buy only to find that they are not going to be of any use to me. Yes I know you can do the smaller ones manually, but a bit of a job when you are doing duvets etc.

Look forward to your comments - Chris :-D
