It has been reported that James Jordan has not been asked to appear as a leading dancer in this years Strictly. He will only be required as a backing dancer!

Ola said that she did not want to appear without him, and is considering her future on the show.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that James was a bit vocal on the last series?

I am sure I read only this week that Ola has already signed up this series......I doubt he will be missed

I rather think that Ian Waite should come back. He is tall, lithe and a good dancer.

Dont know that Kevin from Wherever should come back. I think he was overawed with Miss Bossyboots.

Would love to see Ian Waite back on the show.

So it has been confirmed in print that James will not be back in the Autumn. Apparently there had been spats between him and Craig Revel-H.

Artem will also not be back. He has been appearing on the USA version of the show, and he has also split from Kara Tointon.

Kevin from Grimsby has a sister apparently, and she will be joining the show!

I quite liked Artem and didn't know he and Kara had split up. He is a good dancer.

Oh and I am one of the few who actually like Bruce but it is time for him to stand down now for his own sake. Not keen on the new set up though.

Didn't care much for Artem and James tended to be mouthy as Brendan can be,but he gets away with it.
As for Bruce...well..He has been an all round entertainer for many years and a fabulous pianist.dont get many like that these days, but it really was time for him to go.We all have to retire sometime and he had a good innings.

Doesn't look as tho Artem and Kara have split, they are still listed as partners on her Wikipedia page.

I am sure Strictly will still be a good watch even with new dancers and without Bruce altho he was good on the show.

Liz, I read in the paper yesterday, that Kara has split from Artem, he is also having visa problems, so has decided to stay in America, and will appear on Dancing with the Stars.

I dunno, its only what I read!
