The breeding period is now over and it`s not long afore the annual Haggis Hunting season begins.

Do you think these cuddly little animals should be protected by law before they become totally extinct?
I just hate to see them processed and "bagged" up ready for human consumption in the local supermarkets.

Should not be allowed!.. its so so cruel to such lovely little creatures.
There ought to be a petition to stop this wanton slaughter of our fast disappearing little Highland beauties.

Sorry to say I bought a "Haggis Hunter" Tshirt when we were last in Scotland.

I had to stop wearing it......for two reasons

1. Angry vegans

2. I'm not that size any more

:-D

I suppose they,re similar "Faggots" only larger and have to be shot, the taste depends on the type of shot used,if you use "Rock Salt" it saves you the job of flavouring it :-D But I,m sure the Expert on these Haggis (Emma) will no doubt enlighten us all on this subject. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Haggis is a tasty meal, so long as you don't look at the ingredients - and because I know some people are squeamish, I will only post the link for them on here :-D

I understand from reputable sources that haggises have longer legs on one side of their body to enable them to run around the hills. So what happens if they get confused and run around the hill in the wrong direction?

EDIT: I've now found an even more reputable source that says the haggii do NOT have longer legs on one side. Well I never.

Also, part 2 of that totally reliable site states that the hunting season doesn't start until 30 November.

:-D

I was born in Scotland, I think my blood is 97% Scottish..... but I really dion't like haggis!

My brothers love it :-D When they invite friends to a bbq they serve haggis (as well as the usual Aussie steaks & sausages)....... and if they are invited to a bbq, they take a haggis as well as wine & beer!

They torment people with haggis! :-0
