People buy drugs online because they are cheaper.

It is not as common here as it is in the US.

But like Jude, I do not know why you would do it.

I know that men will buy Viagra this way, as they are far too embarassed to go to their doctor with their 'problem'. However, what they forget this is a heart drug and if by chance they do not get fake tablets, they are playing with their health with the real thing.

I suppose the fact that governments and big businesses are conning the people doesn't help.
Why, when small mobile phones first came about, were men warned not to keep them in their front pockets. Then, when it was realised the phones meant big money, this warning disappeared? The powers that be are still not sure whether the radiation from phones can cause cancer, why should they care when they're raking it in?

How did horse meat become beef? Why didn't food inspectors notice? With the government reducing the numbers of inspectors, it was inevitable.
Despite the recent flooding, the government is reducing the number of staff in the Environment Agency.

Apparently low energy bulbs are more dangerous than we've been told

As for fracking. Hampshire water comes straight from the water table.
Even as a non-geologist, I can see the disruption to the water table caused by fracking is going to affect water quality. Put water & chalk powder (most of Hampshire is chalk-based) in a tray, let it settle, then shake it. The effect is as simple as that.

So, the conning, money grabbing and 'couldn't care less' about the rest of you' attitude starts at the top. :-|
