Cat Treats

I don't buy treats for my cat generally.

The other day I must have had a brain storm because I bought him a packet and now I have remembered why I usually don't.

Just like he always does, he gobbled them down without them touching the sides and back they came, just as quickly!

What a waste of a packet of cat treats!

:-D I've occasionally received a free pack of treats - they're still unopened.
My cats don't know what a 'treat' is, and, when occasionally offered one, don't eat it. :-S

My sister feeds her cat treats all the time - and she's a nasty piece of work (the cat, not my sister :-D). Go to stroke her, she'll let you once or twice - then attack!

My cats have (so far) never attacked a human (smug emoticon) :-D

Cat toys are a complete puzzle to my cat and to others before him.

On the occasions I have tried to get them to play with one they have looked at me as if I have some sort of embarrassing twitch.

Mine is the same with toys, but feels he is entitled to cat treats if he has been a good boy while we´ve been out.

I would be grateful if my cat would eat a treat she's so fussy a bit of tuna (must be out of a new tin ) and a few dry bits and bobs but changes her mind as to what she likes every time! The neighbours cat comes in and finishes off everything else :-0

Our old girl is sooooo fussy on what she will eat.

She prefers fish pouches but isn't that fond of salmon ones

I save those for the tortoise who has a dollop of cat food with his salad selection daily

But he is lucky if he gets to eat it as she will pinch it off his plate if he doesn't get to it first

Vet calls her an opportunist eater

We had difficulty getting her to eat over Easter when we tried putting her meds in her food . Hubby said put the dish on the patio to see if she will pinch it . Had to keep eye on it as it had steroids in it .
Yep she went out into garden ,spied food and woofed down half of it it one eating .went back later and ate the other half ..

Left though the pill pouch with the antibiotic in it . Had to rescue that and crush it into a treat later on ,

Its a worry getting her meds down her so I have to take her daily to the vet to get her to pop them in her mouth
Vet says she has an alligator mouth lol very snappy and you are lucky not to get bitten .we couldn't do it .

One of mine likes playing. Not with cat toys - but hair ties!!
I mean the thick ones, not the type that slither nicely down the throat.
First found this out when she was a kitten and my daughter was still living with me. They'd disappear from the bathroom, and I'd find them in the living room.
Then we saw Betty with one.
Eight years later, (I probably buy a packet every 2 years or so) I find them in every room in the house, and all over the garden! She throws them in the air, watches where they fall, then stalks them - to flick them into the air again :-D
