Spelt it wrong Mersey...it's Erddig Hall. Yes it's very nice up there...National Trust now. House and gardens lovely views etc. Am sure daughter said they now have an adventure park for the young ones.

If you park up and walk down the lane at the rear of the property there is lots of open space and the river Alyn where all the kids paddle in the summer...so you can make a day of it.

My dad used to train police dogs up there when the old squire Philliphs York was there...google and take a look.

I was outside Mersey guarding all things you need when out for the day with 2 young uns.......well all the things their parents think they need :-0

Blimey it's like an expedition...have you put spare this in and that in...better put a thin coat and fleece and Welles in, 9 gallons of bottled water and 10 packs of baby wipes. Box of plasters and antiseptic cream mosquito repellent and the list goes on and on!

Me I travel light....one bag and that's it :-D
